A Holiday Wish

As another year comes to a close and the days grow cold and short, I'd like to wish all of my readers a safe and wonderful holiday season. I wasn't nearly as active this year as I would have liked, but I appreciate everyone who stopped by. The blog surpassed one million pageviews this past month. A few past and present owners checked in to share stories, information and photos of their rides. It warms my heart to learn more about the cars I feature, and the individual relationships people have with them beyond the five or ten minutes I spent taking pictures.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.

See you in 2023!

Danville Street Sighting - 1970 Cadillac Eldorado

I'll be the first to admit that the post-1967 front-wheel-drive GM luxury coupes aren't on my short list of cars I'd have in my garage. But I do respect them. It takes a particular sort to fall in love with a big, floaty couch on wheels. The personal luxury coupe market segment enjoyed a couple of decades of popularity in America, largely supplanting the muscle car during the 1970s. The king among these was the Cadillac Eldorado, billed as the World's Finest Personal Car. And this one is amazing.
