Wish I lived out there where you are Jay. I think I could make a small fortune detailing these cars you photograph. Just looking at this beauty of a land yacht I believe I could make it sparkle.
I remember this cars, and the bad idea of rear windshield that usually fails, and allow the re-entry of exhaust gases. A lot of lincolns and mercurys, was imported to my country, Venezuela, by the Oil companies, in earlys 50' and 60' . But like a saudí-minds people, this cars dissapeared in junk yards because no spares or good mechanics, to keep this machines in running conditions.
