Despite...I've always like mid-sixties Mercurys. Despite it's flat black paint, I even like this one. And, the green "beauty rings" with no hubcaps dress it up in a weird sort of way. It appears to be a nice straight car, not all banged up or bottomed out. I think the owner likes this car for what it is. Whoever painted it made a point not to paint over it's badges and chrome trim pieces. It looks dignified. It's good to see interest, presumably by a young person, in a Mercury sedan from this period.
